How to make accounting communication interesting?

Parasolia is an accounting company with a German character and a great sense of humor. The team entered a new market and needed communication that would help build a recognizable brand. We discarded cautious strategies and decided to do ACHTUNG!

Branding

The first step was to update the visual style. We kept the previous color palette and the main element – the umbrella. However, the new Parasolia became more modern and vibrant.

Communication strategy

We conducted in-depth interviews with representatives of the target audience (mainly business owners) and obtained the most important insight: MANAGERS ARE NOT INTERESTED IN ACCOUNTING. They are interested in management, marketing, and development, but not in those reports, bills, and tax deductions.

Parasolia is meant to protect businesses from any weather, especially bureaucracy. So we decided to emphasize the German character of the brand in the tone of voice and supported it with benefits in communication messages.

SMM-strategy

In line with the communication strategy, we developed a social media promotion strategy and created a vibrant visual for the page, which was an extension of the branding. Our main goal was to stand out among the many strict and formal accountants and attract the attention of entrepreneurs.

Instead of boring legal excerpts, Parasolia will write concise posts with a touch of humor. Instead of long publications with continuations in the comments, they will create expert videos. And instead of another reminder to accountants “don’t forget to submit your reports,” they will respond to what truly interests business owners.

Website development

We continued the new communication on the website. We developed a portfolio website with the company’s services, a calculator, and the option to schedule consultations.
